Job Description
The Operations Coordinator will oversee transport operations, fleet performance, and daily logistics activities. The role involves managing a large fleet, coordinating drivers and operators, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting decision-making through accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily transport operations and ensure smooth fleet coordination
- Monitor and report on fleet performance and operational activities
- Coordinate drivers and operators to ensure timely service delivery
- Handle vehicle breakdowns, ensuring quick response and recovery
- Analyze breakdown trends and implement preventive measures
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management
- Oversee equipment usage and optimize vehicle performance
- Support operational planning and decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures (including ADNOC & CICPA where applicable)
Requirements
- 7–8 years of experience in transport or logistics operations
- Proven experience managing large fleets (350+ vehicles)
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC and CICPA procedures
- Experience in driver/operator coordination
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Excellent organizational and reporting skills
