PRESCHOOL TEACHER

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Osu, Accra. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their emotional, social, and academic growth. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lessons, observing and supporting children’s development, and maintaining strong communication with parents and colleagues.
 

 Requirements:

Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
• Certification or training in Montessori, EYFS, or Cambridge Early Years is an advantage.

Work Experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years experience working in a preschool or early years educational environment.
• Experience working in an international school environment is highly desirable.

Professional Skills
• Ability to plan and implement engaging lesson plans and activities for young children.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development (ages 6 months – 5 years).
• Ability to observe and support children’s emotional, social, and academic growth.
• Strong classroom management skills.

Communication Skills
• Excellent communication with parents and colleagues.
• Ability to write child progress reports and provide feedback to parents.

Personal Qualities
• Passion for working with young children.
• Patient, nurturing, and creative personality.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Professional attitude and commitment to high teaching standards.

Additional Advantage
• Experience working with expatriate families living in Ghana.
• Training in child safeguarding, first aid, or early childhood development.
