Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager (Expatriate)- Metal Engineering to lead our production team in Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. This is an expatriate role, requiring relocation to Ghana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production planning, scheduling, and execution
- Ensure quality and efficiency in production processes
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Monitor and report on production performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop a team of production staff
- Provide training and coaching to improve team performance
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure material availability
- Work with maintenance team to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Identify and mitigate production risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- 5+ years of production management experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
