Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities:
• Prepare periodic financial statements as per GAAP/IFRS and present to executive management.
• Work with management to drive the cost efficiencies and improvement in profitability of the operations.
• Coordinate with the external auditors in completing the statutory audit requirements.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Project Costing, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Manage the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting entries, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
• Responsible for required statutory tax filings with authorities.
• Prepare annual budget in consultation with the management.
Qualification & Experience:
• Masters in finance, management, or accounting OR CA/ CPA completed.
• Strong understanding of accounting and internal process controls.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
• Good analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
• ERP, Process Controls, Audit, Excel.
