Job Summary:
A reputable company located in East Legon is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage its financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, be proficient in Sage Accounting software, and be well-versed in preparing and filing statutory payments (SSNIT, PAYE, VAT, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions
- Handle statutory payments and ensure timely filing (SSNIT, PAYE, VAT, etc.)
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts
- Monitor budgets and prepare financial reports for management
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Use Sage to record, track, and analyze financial transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software is required
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and statutory compliance
