The Stores Officer will oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring that stock levels are accurately maintained and properly documented. The role involves close coordination with procurement, finance, and operations departments to manage inventory efficiently and reduce wastage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate stock ledgers and computerized inventory systems.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical counts with system records.
• Monitor reorder levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Ensure proper labeling and organized storage of materials.
• Supervise loading and unloading of goods in the store area.
• Prepare reports on stock movements and inventory levels.
