Key Responsibilities
Liquidity & FX Management:
Source, evaluate, and onboard competitive fiat and stablecoin liquidity providers and OTC desks.
Manage rate-matching strategy to ensure ZitraPay's pricing remains competitive without eroding margin.
Banking & Payment Infrastructure:
Establish and deepen cross-border banking relationships with a focus on lower fees, faster settlement, and greater flexibility.
Identify and onboard new payment rails across priority African markets including Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, The Gambia, and Cameroon.
Commercial & Fintech Partnerships:
Identify and structure cross-trade partnerships with other fintechs; positioning ZitraPay as a liquidity provider where our pricing and infrastructure creates mutual advantage.
Hunt new commercial partners systematically; understand their pain points and map ZitraPay's strengths to their needs (e.g, Oil & gas, Multinations, major Pharmaceuticals and some major Stablecoin buyers).
Maintain a live pipeline of active and prospective LP and commercial partner relationships.
Support treasury management services for multinational clients seeking FX solutions and liquidity support.
Expectations & Requirements
2–5 years of experience in FX trading, treasury operations, or a liquidity-focused role within a fintech, OTC desk, or financial institution.
Demonstrated ability to source and negotiate with liquidity providers — you have existing relationships or know how to build them quickly.
Strong FX market knowledge with a working understanding of NGN, USD, and at least one other African currency corridor.
Commercial instinct: you understand the difference between generating revenue through spreads and simply marking up rates.
Analytically sharp with a hands-on approach to data; comfortable building and maintaining Excel dashboards, rate calculators, and spread/volume trackers from scratch.
Existing network within the African or diaspora fintech/OTC space is a strong advantage.
