Underground Mining Technician

Job Summary
AGM Inc. is seeking a technically competent and safety-conscious Underground Mining Technician to support underground mining operations at its Aurora Gold Mine facility. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating daily mining activities, monitoring operational progress, maintaining safety standards, and resolving technical and operational challenges to ensure efficient production.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily underground mining activities and ensure tasks are executed according to established plans.
• Coordinate onsite activities and resolve operational issues to maintain efficiency and stability.
• Monitor the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with established mining safety standards and operational procedures.
• Monitor and track underground mining activities against operational plans.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and recommend practical improvements to achieve production targets.
• Enforce mining safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections and assessments.
• Support efficient coordination of underground mining operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a mining environment or a related field.
• Ability to adapt to underground mining environments and working conditions.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to meet operational deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and operational efficiency.
