Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, professional, and customer-focused Waiters to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanour.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations to guests.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and timing.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Prepare tables by setting up cutlery, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
- Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Key Requirements
- Minimum HND in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a waiter in a hotel or fine-dining restaurant is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
