Job Summary:
New Sahara Ventures is looking for an Accountant to join the Harare Office team. New Sahara Ventures is the Leading Developer and turn-key Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations & Maintenance Contractor Off grid, Grid tied Solar systems/Farms and power infrastructure networks in Zimbabwe and SADC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Recording financial transactions (journal ledgers and ledger maintenance).
* Prepare and analyse financial statements.
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.
* Implementing and maintaining internal controls.
* Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
The candidate:
* Must have a BCOM / BACC in Accounting/ Finance.
* The candidate should have at least 3 years' experience in the accounting field.
* Excellent computer skills (icrosoft Word, Excel, email clients).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
