Job Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role supports overall financial operations and decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with VAT and local tax regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain general ledger and accounting records
- Assist with budgeting and financial analysis
- Support internal and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
