We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Accounts Officer to join our growing organization. As an Accounts Officer, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, supporting financial reporting processes, and maintaining compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Process payments, receipts, invoices, and other financial transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts regularly.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company financial procedures.
  • Assist with audit preparations and provide required financial documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of financial records.
  • Support the Finance Team with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
