Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations. This role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, budgeting and financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting regulatory standards. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions & Record Keeping: Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up to date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
Budgeting & Financial Planning: Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and track actual expenses against budgets and provide variance analysis.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
Tax & compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax fillings. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Job Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role. Experience with tax compliance and regulatory requirements in Ghana .
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, build strong working relationships, and handle stress effectively.
Knowledge Skills: Strong knowledge of financial record keeping, reporting and reconciliation. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
