Job Description – Assistant Manager Imports



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the import operations: handling letters of credit (L/Cs), bank contracts, advance payment processes with banks.  
  • Verify and check import documentation.  
  • Arrange and establish financial instruments and insurance coverage for imports.  
  • Liaise and coordinate with banks, clearing agents, freight forwarders and transporters.  



Experience & Qualification Requirements


  • 4-5 years of relevant experience (preferably in the FMCG sector).  
  • Graduate or Masters degree (or equivalent) in a related field preferred.  
  • Strong communication skills, persuasive and analytical ability. Ability to multitask and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
