Job Description – Assistant Manager Imports
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the import operations: handling letters of credit (L/Cs), bank contracts, advance payment processes with banks.
- Verify and check import documentation.
- Arrange and establish financial instruments and insurance coverage for imports.
- Liaise and coordinate with banks, clearing agents, freight forwarders and transporters.
Experience & Qualification Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant experience (preferably in the FMCG sector).
- Graduate or Masters degree (or equivalent) in a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, persuasive and analytical ability. Ability to multitask and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
