JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Cake Decorator, you’ll bring sweet ideas to life by decorating cakes for birthdays, weddings, holidays, and special events. From smooth buttercream finishes to elegant fondant designs, you’ll use your artistic skills to create cakes that wow customers and taste just as good as they look. You’ll work in a fast-paced bakery environment where creativity, cleanliness, and consistency matter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and decorate cakes that are visually stunning and customer-approved
- Create custom cake designs for special occasions and celebrations
- Prepare and apply buttercream, fondant, fillings, and decorative elements
- Ensure all cakes meet quality, design, and presentation standards
- Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and food-safe
- Work closely with bakers and team members to meet daily orders and deadlines
- Manage decorating supplies and report shortages when necessary
- Handle cakes carefully during finishing, packaging, and display
- Stay creative while maintaining consistency and efficiency
