Owning and driving project plans for major corporate clients, working with internal teams and senior management to ensure that project milestones are achieved on a daily and weekly basis. Bringing together bid and account management teams on larger opportunities - maximising capabilities and learning across the matrix and within the team.
Leading relationship management with our key clients and serving as the communication link between clients and internal stakeholders to enable effective account management.
Reporting and providing data on progress, achievements, forecasts, and risks and escalating key issues as required.
Conducting regular status and strategy meetings with Partners to manage their evolving needs, proposing effective learning and operational solutions and new ways of working.
Progressing initial sales enquiries from key accounts, understanding client issues and needs, ensuring first class customer experience and care at each stage of the sales development process, from initial enquiry through to post assignment satisfaction.
Creating written proposals for existing key clients covering the complete range of CIPD products and services including their requirements, costs and timelines enabling sales.
Delivering presentations on CIPD Products and Services to existing and potential clients/audiences.
Handling and executing sales for inbound enquiries from 3rd party suppliers where the ES team do not have an existing relationship.
Monitoring sales pipeline management through use of CRM (Salesforce) database and business intelligence tools to actively track sales and account management activity, providing updates to those ES account managers they work with.
What you’ll need to be successful
Proven client relationship management experience and demonstrable interpersonal and commercial skills.
Excellent organisation and planning skills plus a proven ability to take a lead on delivering projects.
Good verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experienced of producing high quality customer proposals and delivering presentations to clients.
Excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Strong conceptual and analytical ability to generate insights that can be applied to our sales and account management activities.
Good knowledge of working with UK organisations ranging from FTSE 100 to mid-sized, nationals and multi-nationals.
An interest in the people profession and providing excellent customer service.
Strong team-player, understanding the synergies of working closely with Sals Managers and as part of the Client Experience Team as well as the wider organisation.
Strong tech savvy skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Power Point) and spreadsheets skills are essential.
Experienced in working with CRM such as Salesforce or other customer relationships systems/tools.
