Africa Dyslexia Organisation (ADO) is searching for a dynamic, sharp, and impact-driven Finance & Administration Manager to join our growing team.
If you're a young professional with solid experience in finance, accounting, or nonprofit operations — and you're hungry for purpose, growth, and real responsibility — this role is for you.
Why This Role Is Exciting:
- You won’t just be “managing books.”
- You’ll be helping build the financial backbone of an organisation that’s transforming dyslexia inclusion across Africa.
- You’ll work closely with leadership, strengthen systems, improve accountability, and ensure our programs run smoothly — while gaining continental exposure, autonomy, and leadership experience.
What You’ll Lead:
- End-to-end financial management, reporting, and budgeting
- Donor compliance, grant reporting & expenditure tracking
- Payroll, vendor management, and financial controls
- Administrative coordination & operational support
- Policy implementation and strengthening internal systems
- Supporting audits, risk management, and resource planning
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Smart, organised, and detail-driven
- Young but experienced enough to lead finance & admin confidently
- Skilled in accounting, budgeting, and nonprofit finance
- Tech-savvy — comfortable with tools, spreadsheets, and systems
- A self-starter who can build, not just follow
- Eager to grow and take ownership of a critical department
- Passionate about social impact, education, and strengthening communities
What You’ll Gain:
- A leadership-track role in a growing African nonprofit
- Real responsibility + autonomy to shape systems and structures
- Experience working with international donors and partners
- A mission-driven environment that values innovation, integrity & impact
- Professional development and mentorship from experienced leaders
