The HR Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for the entire employee lifecycle. This role requires a professional who is comfortable navigating the transition between remote and hybrid work models, implementing robust HR technology, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. You will be the architect of our workplace culture and the custodian of our talent management strategies.


Key Responsibilities
• Strategic People Operations: Partner with the COO to align HR strategies with business goals. Lead the development and implementation of core organizational policies, including Performance Management, Remote/Hybrid Work, and Leave policies.
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles. Ensure a seamless integration process for new hires, focusing on culture fit and role clarity.
• HRMS Management: Own the administration and optimization of the HRMS- Zoho People to ensure data integrity, automated workflows, and efficient payroll processing.
• Performance Management: Drive the performance review cycles. Implement frameworks that encourage continuous feedback and align individual goals with company KPIs.
• Employee Engagement & Culture: Develop initiatives to maintain high morale and productivity within a hybrid work environment. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Compliance & Labor Relations: Ensure all HR practices comply with Nigerian Labor Laws and relevant industry regulations. Manage statutory filings and stay updated on evolving workplace legislation.
• Learning & Development: Identify skills gaps within the team and coordinate training programs or self-development activities to promote internal growth.


 Qualifications & Experience
• Experience: 4–6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a management role within a tech or fintech environment.

• Education : B. Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (A degree in Computer Science or Psychology is a significant advantage given our technical focus).

• Certification : Membership in CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria) or SHRM/PHRi is highly preferred.

Skills & Abilities
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable HR initiatives.
• The ability to lead a team through organizational changes, such as shifting work models (Remote vs. Hybrid).
•Absolute discretion and ethical conduct in handling confidential employee and company information.
• The ability to mentor a small team of HR associates and influence department heads.
