Role Overview:

Ruwah is building a next-generation financial and educational platform for families, powered by technology and AI. We are seeking a Operations Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring that strategy is translated into execution across product, growth, partnerships, and internal operations. This role is the operational backbone of Ruwah. You will work directly with the founders to coordinate teams, drive execution, and ensure the company moves forward consistently and efficiently. 


Core Responsibilities

1. Business Operations & Execution

  • Own and manage day-to-day operations across all functions
  • Translate strategic goals into weekly and monthly execution plans
  • Track progress across teams and ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve them proactively

2. Product & Development Coordination

  • Work closely with technical teams to track product development
  • Ensure features are delivered on time and aligned with business goals
  • Coordinate testing cycles (especially for the LMS and platform users)
  • Bridge communication between business and technical teams

3. Growth & Partnerships

  • Coordinate execution of marketing campaigns and growth initiatives
  • Manage partnerships (schools, parents, educators, institutions)
  • Support rollout of pilots and user acquisition strategies
  • Track growth metrics and recommend improvements

4. Team & Project Management

  • Lead internal coordination across team members and external partners
  • Implement and manage task/project management systems (e.g., ClickUp, Notion)
  • Ensure accountability across all contributors
  • Run weekly team check-ins and reporting cycles

5. Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Track operational budgets and spending
  • Coordinate basic financial reporting with founders
  • Support revenue tracking and monetisation rollout
  • Ensure smooth administrative operations


Key Requirements

  • 3–6+ years experience in operations, startups, consulting, or project management
  • Strong execution mindset (this is not a “theory” role)
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
  • Experience working with tech or digital products
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • High ownership and accountability

Bonus:

  • Experience in fintech, edtech, or startups
  • Familiarity with African markets
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
