Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of investment portfolios and fund operations. This role involves conducting market research, assisting with asset allocation, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, a keen eye for market trends, and the required regulatory certifications to operate in Ghana's investment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Assist in managing client investment portfolios, including asset allocation, rebalancing, and performance monitoring.
- Fund Management Support: Support daily fund operations, including NAV calculations, liquidity management, and cash flow monitoring.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and investment analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports, market updates, and investment proposals to management and clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all investment activities adhere to the regulatory requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Ghana and GISI guidelines.
- Client Relations: Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders by providing timely and accurate investment information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Certification: Must have passed the Ghana Investment and Securities Institute (GISI) examination. A CFA designation is an added advantage.
- Experience: Prior experience in portfolio management, fund management, or a related financial services role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and investment analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication abilities, and high attention to detail
