Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to oversee and coordinate production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials from production through suppliers and ensuring smooth coordination with on-site teams to achieve production targets efficiently and cost-effectively. The successful candidate must possess strong experience in manufacturing operations, supply coordination, production planning, inventory management, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage the movement and availability of materials from production points to suppliers and on-site operational teams.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and supplier teams to avoid production delays.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Maintain production quality standards and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate material replenishment where necessary.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare production reports, material usage reports, and performance analysis for management review.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and manufacturing regulations.
- Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve productivity targets.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely supply of materials and operational support.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a Production Management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination.
- Proven ability to coordinate materials between production units, suppliers, and site teams.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management systems/software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
