Key Responsibilities
Support the design, engineering, and execution of subsea projects (e.g., pipelines, risers, umbilicals, subsea structures).
Plan and oversee subsea installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair activities.
Interface with offshore teams (ROV, diving, vessel crew) to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare engineering documents including procedures, method statements, and technical reports.
Review and interpret subsea drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support during offshore campaigns and troubleshooting of subsea equipment.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver project objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Marine, Petroleum, or related field).
3–8+ years’ experience in subsea engineering within upstream oil & gas.
Strong knowledge of subsea systems (pipelines, SURF, trees, manifolds, umbilicals).
Experience with offshore operations (installation, IMR, or construction support).
Familiarity with industry standards (API, ISO, DNV).
Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, Offshore Medical) are an advantage.
