Job Description
The National Sales Manager will manage key accounts for heavy commercial vehicle OEM customers and oversee sales, pricing, and business development activities for OE and aftermarket segments. The role involves strategic leadership, customer relationship management, and driving business growth in a competitive automotive environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

 

  •  Manage sales operations for Truck OEM customers (OE & Aftermarket) 
  •  Handle pricing strategies, market share targets, and commercial negotiations 
  •  Negotiate warranty terms with OEM clients 
  •  Lead project management for new product launches and customer-specific projects 
  •  Conduct competitor and market analysis 
  •  Drive new business development and promote new products 
  •  Prepare sales budgets and forecasts 
  •  Ensure achievement of KPIs and timely receivables collection 
  •  Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, accounts, etc.) 
  •  Manage warranty claims and customer issues 
  •  Represent company at industry events and exhibitions 
  •  Lead cross-functional teams and ensure business growth 


Requirements

 

  •  Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 
  •  10+ years’ experience in handling Heavy Commercial OEMs (e.g., Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Volvo-Eicher, Mahindra & Mahindra) 
  •  Multinational company experience preferred 
  •  Postgraduate qualification in Sales & Marketing is an advantage 
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills 
  •  Ability to travel extensively 
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  •  Age: Maximum 40 years 
  •  Minimum academic score: 60%
