Job Overview
The Senior Civil Technical Engineer will be responsible for managing technical engineering activities across construction projects, including shop drawings, method statements, coordination, and technical problem-solving. The role requires strong UAE project experience and knowledge of local authority standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site execution teams
- Ensure all work complies with UAE regulations, project specifications, and authority requirements
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution
- Review design drawings and ensure accuracy before implementation
- Support project delivery through effective technical coordination
- Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with engineering standards
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely approvals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of construction experience in the UAE (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong coordination and communication abilities
- Must be currently available in the UAE
- Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred
