Project Manager – HR & Payroll Services

🧩 Job Purpose
To lead and manage the delivery of large-scale HR outsourcing projects, including payroll, recruitment, and compliance services. Responsible for overall coordination, service quality, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and client requirements.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of HR service contracts, including team coordination, planning, execution, and reporting.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.

Oversee recruitment delivery, ensuring efficient sourcing and presentation of qualified candidates.

Ensure accurate and timely execution of monthly payroll in compliance with Ghanaian laws and tax regulations.

Supervise internal teams (recruiters, payroll staff, compliance officers) and align resource allocation with project goals.

Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Ensure adherence to local employment and tax laws (SSNIT, GRA, Labour Act).

Lead risk management, escalation handling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Generate regular internal and client-facing reports on project performance.

🧠 Key Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

7+ years of experience in managing HR outsourcing, payroll, or recruitment projects.

Strong background in stakeholder/client management and contract execution.

In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws, payroll processing, and HR standards.

Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in HRIS/payroll tools such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sage, or Zoho.
