JOB PURPOSE
To drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies, client acquisition, account management, and market expansion across room sales, conference and banqueting business, corporate partnerships, group bookings, and leisure packages.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and implement the hotel’s sales strategy in line with business and revenue objectives.
2. Drive sales across room bookings, conferences, banqueting, events, family package staycations, and corporate business.
3. Identify and secure new clients including corporate organizations, travel agents, event planners, wedding planners, tour operators, government institutions, NGOs, religious groups, and schools.
4. Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure achievement of revenue goals.
5. Build business pipelines and maintain strong conversion rates from leads to confirmed business.
6. Manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
7. Conduct regular client visits, courtesy calls, and follow-ups to maintain strong relationships.
8. Address client concerns promptly and professionally to protect brand reputation.
9. Conduct site inspections and hotel presentations for prospective clients.
10. Negotiate rates, packages, and contractual agreements within approved pricing frameworks.
11. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and pricing movements.
12. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
13. Recommend pricing, packaging, and sales initiatives based on market intelligence.
14. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports showing pipeline status, conversions, and revenue contribution.
15. Maintain accurate client database, lead records, and account activity reports.
16. Forecast sales performance and provide realistic projections for occupancy and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use CRM tools, trackers, and hotel systems effectively to manage sales activities.
- Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns with revenue targets and customer segments.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Conference & Banqueting, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver promised client experiences.
- Liaise with Finance on credit arrangements, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Supervise, coach, and support the sales team to achieve departmental goals.
- Allocate territories, segments, or account portfolios effectively.
- Monitor staff productivity, client engagement levels, and target achievement.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training to improve sales effectiveness.
- Represent RCH Kwahu at trade events, exhibitions, networking events, and stakeholder meetings.
- Build strategic relationships that strengthen the hotel’s visibility and business positioning.
- Support the development of promotional packages that improve occupancy, average daily rate, and event bookings.


REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
- Professional certification in Sales or Marketing is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ sales experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role (hospitality preferred).
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales and hospitality revenue streams.
- Understanding of conference, banqueting, events, and leisure markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship management and client service orientation.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
