We are looking for outgoing individuals to:
- Performs tasks required for the safe and proper operation of a facility that will include pools, park and surrounding grounds
- Repairs and maintains swimming pools
- Responsible for minor repairs to various pool pumps and pool chemical feed systems.
- Monitors the operation of a variety of pumps and filters, logging results and making adjustments.
- Vacuums and brushes pool walls, gutters and surfaces, backwashes pool filters and disinfects pool decks.
- May perform chemical and temperature testing and maintain records of the same
- Maintains records and log books
- Performs other related work as assigned
- Provides customer service
Requirements:
- Must have Certified pool operator’s certificate and experience working in a pool environment
- Strong communication, organization and customer service skills
- Positive can-do attitude and mindset for continual improvement of procedures, tasks, etc
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License or better with a clean abstract.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Some manual labour required
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Able to work in various weather conditions
