Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Act as a dedicated operational focal point for clients
- Support the recruitment of operational & support personnel - to mentor, motivate, train & develop staff to maintain an effective workforce capable of meeting its objectives
- Monitor performance measures to ensure good performance is maintained and areas for improvement are identified and acted upon
- Ensure best practice associated with industry technical standards is maintained
- Maintain active participation in improving the quality and HSE management system, bringing to the attention of senior management any HSE issues that require attention
- Support pre/ post job briefings to ensure best practice is in place, known and followed; crews are full engaged & understand their roles/responsibilities
- Identify and explore all opportunities for business improvement
- Assist in the formulation of budgets ensuring the necessary resources are in place to achieve the budgeted work & development program
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational issues sharing updates on latest company policies, structure, future plans, technologies and safety/quality related topics
- Support HSEQ/SCM during vendor audits
- Prioritise department workload and work in conjunction with department manager and workshop manager to ensure equipment is correctly allocated to maximise profits
- Monitor/audit operational, engineering & workshop areas
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Previous experience typically gained through working experience and technical knowledge of relevant equipment and services
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Teams)
