Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate accounting records.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and financial reporting standards.
Monitor inventory accounting and cost control procedures.
Coordinate external and internal audit activities.
Review payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Monitor fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
Assist in implementing financial controls and risk management measures.
Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
ACA / ACCA certification is required
6 - 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Must have worked with a Top Manufacturing Organization (VERY IMPORTANT)
Must be between the ages of 30-38 years of age.
Previous experience within the manufacturing sector is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, ERP systems, and cost accounting.
Salary Range
N800,000 – N1,200,000 Monthly.
