Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality, specialist-level gastroenterology care, supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of digestive system disorders, while ensuring a patient-centered and evidence-based approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive specialist gastroenterology care in line with best-practice guidelines and regulatory standards
- Evaluate patients for gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and colorectal conditions
- Utilize patient medical history and diagnostic tests to assess digestive system health
- Work alongside primary care providers
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
Qualifications & Experience:
- DHA-licensed or DHA-eligible Specialist Gastroenterologist
- Recognised specialty qualification
- Minimum 5+ years of experience at specialist level
- Experience in outpatient gastroenterology settings
