Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive specialist-level ophthalmology care, including the diagnosis and management of eye diseases and injuries, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive specialist-level care in ophthalmology, including diagnosis and management of eye diseases and injuries
- Perform vision testing and prescribe glasses/contact lenses
- Conduct corrective surgeries (e.g., cataract removal, corneal repair)
- Manage both inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) clinical and surgical activity
- Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on quality and continuity
Qualifications & Experience:
- DHA-licensed Specialist Ophthalmologist
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ophthalmology
- Strong expertise in anterior segment ophthalmology
- Minimum 5+ years of specialist-level experience post-qualification
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
