Job Summary:
The Accounting Services Supervisor is responsible for the daily management and oversight of the accounting department's operations. This includes supervising a team of accounting staff, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The supervisor acts as a key liaison between the accounting team and senior management, providing insightful analysis and support for strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership and Supervision:
* Supervise, train, and mentor a team of accounting professionals (e.g., Accounts Payable Clerks, Accounts Receivable Specialists, and Staff Accountants).
* Plan, prioritize, and assign daily tasks to team members, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and on time.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth within the team.
* Resolve team-related issues and serve as a go-to resource for technical guidance and problem-solving.
2. Financial Operations and Reporting:
* Oversee and review daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
* Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements and reports are accurate and completed within deadlines.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and variances.
* Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting to support business planning.
3. Compliance and Controls:
* Ensure all accounting practices and procedures are in strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant laws and regulations.
* Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
* Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
* Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax legislation and recommend adjustments to company policies and procedures.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
* Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters, communicating effectively with other departments and senior management.
* Liaise with external parties, such as auditors and tax authorities, as needed.
* Provide regular updates to management on the company's financial health, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting from a reputable university, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
2. At least 3 years of experience in consultant
3. Demonstrates sufficient accounting knowledge.
4. Strong knowledge of Indonesia GAAP (PSAK), IFRS, tax regulations, and industry regulations.
5. Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong team management skills.
7. Hardworking, highly motivated, and capable of working independently.
8. Ability to support, mentor staff effectively, and interpersonal relationship skills.
9. Good communication and presentation skills
10. Self-disciplined and with positive attitude
11. Fluency in Bahasa and English (both verbal and written)
