The Management Accountant will act as a business partner, providing detailed financial analysis and insights to drive informed decision-making, operational performance, and cost control. This role focuses on management reporting, scenario planning, cash flow analysis, and supporting medium- to long-term financial planning to strengthen financial discipline and operational efficiency. The position also contributes to continuous improvement in reporting processes and the adoption of technology for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decisions
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction
Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Support investment appraisals and business case development
Collaborate with departments to ensure financial targets are met
Maintain financial systems and ensure data integrity
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CGMA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
High level of integrity and attention to detail
