Job Summary:

  • The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records and ensuring full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role is pivotal in providing accurate and timely financialdata to support strategic decision-making, audits, and regulatory reporting, while implementing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. The position also drives continuous process improvements, leveraging technology and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical expertise in financial accounting standards, reporting, and analysis, coupled with the independence, initiative, and results-oriented mindset required to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and monitor financial data (e.g., revenues, liabilities, expenditures)
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports)
  • Forecast costs and revenues to support budgeting and strategic planning
  • Manage tax payments and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes
  • Analyze financial trends and provide insights to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
  • Assist in developing financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and efficiency

 Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting or auditing
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
