Job Description:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing strategic sales plans, managing territory performance, and mentoring sales teams. The role requires strong leadership, market analysis, and customer relationship management to achieve regional sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
• Identify and develop market opportunities and key accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and clients.
• Lead, coach, and motivate sales teams to meet and exceed targets.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions and campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Report to senior management on sales performance and market feedback.
• Oversee inventory levels and product demand within the region.
• Handle customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Stay informed about new industry developments and innovations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in beverages or FMCG.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and digital sales tools.
• Willingness to travel across assigned regions.
• Results-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented.
