Job Purpose

To lead and drive the regional business development strategy for Inlaks' software solutions portfolio, managing both internally developed products and new partner offerings. The role is responsible for identifying market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, engaging C-suite clients, and driving revenue growth across the Ghanaian market. This position serves as the bridge between market intelligence, product development, and sales execution.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Advise Management on potential partners to consider for strategic collaborations and solution integrations.
  • Scout the market continuously and provide Management with insights on market preferences, emerging trends, and competitive intelligence based on firsthand engagements with clients, Country leads, and Account Managers.
  • Analyze changing market needs and provide strategic recommendations to Management for product and service adjustments.
  • Engage the Sales Team and Account Managers to gather and synthesize market intelligence for informed decision-making.

Business Development & Sales Leadership

  • Set and agree, based on Executive approval, sales quotas (new accounts and financial targets) for the various regions and dedicated Sales Account Managers.
  • Engage the C-Suite of customers to understand their unique business needs, propose perfect-fit solutions, and influence the decision-making process.
  • Drive financial growth by upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, ensuring alignment between customer objectives and Inlaks' product capabilities.
  • Ensure timely collection of expected payments from clients, maintaining healthy cash flow.

Partner & Product Management

  • Manage Inlaks' developed software solutions as well as new partner products, ensuring seamless integration and market readiness.
  • Work closely with Executive, Legal, and Sales Teams to facilitate a seamless and collective partner onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Team Lead in drafting product wireframes/blueprints for new solution development.
  • Engage Management for review and approval of new product development initiatives.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Ensure deep alignment between C-Level executives of customers and Inlaks' leadership to strengthen customer relationships and foster long-term growth.
  • Represent Inlaks at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance the company's market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.

Leadership & Team Coordination

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales and business development teams across regions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Technical, Legal, Marketing) to ensure cohesive execution of business development strategies.
  • Monitor team performance against set targets and provide coaching and support as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Relevant professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, or IT will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Proven 5–8 years of work experience in a similar business development, sales leadership, or software solutions management role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Must have deep knowledge of Inlaks' products and services, including software solutions, IT infrastructure, and digital transformation offerings.
  • Language: Ability to communicate in French will be an added advantage (for regional expansion).
