Careers in Ghana is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading international chemical trading and distribution company, for a Business Development Manager – Chemicals to lead its expansion across Ghana and the wider West African market.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building the company's regional presence by developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across industries including agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, detergents and cosmetics, textiles, and industrial manufacturing.
We're looking for a dynamic professional with:
✔ Proven experience in chemical trading, chemical distribution, or B2B sales of chemical raw materials.
✔ A strong commercial mindset with a track record of winning new business and closing profitable deals.
✔ Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and business development skills.
✔ A solid understanding of the West African market, including industrial customers and cross-border business operations.
✔ Existing networks within manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, pharmaceutical, or trading sectors will be a strong advantage.
