Job Title: Chinese-English Translator

Location: Accra Central, Ghana
Salary: GHS 3,500 – 4,500 (negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chinese-English Translator to accurately convert text and audio recordings between Chinese and English. The ideal candidate ensures that translated content maintains the original meaning, tone, and format, while collaborating with internal teams and clients to meet translation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate text and audio recordings from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Ensure translations convey the original meaning and tone accurately.
• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets expectations.
• Edit translated content while maintaining original formatting.
• Use translation software effectively to streamline tasks.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
• Fluency in at least two languages in addition to your native language (Chinese and English required).
• Excellent proofreading skills with strong attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Familiarity with translation software.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Interpreting, or a related field.
• Must be ready to commence work immediately.
