Job Summary
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Compliance, the Compliance Officer will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the  organization’s compliance framework. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong culture of ethics and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Assist in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and other regulatory compliance programmes.
  • Coordinate compliance investigations and monitor remediation activities.
  • Monitor compliance breaches, emerging regulatory risks, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation.
  • Prepare compliance reports for  management, regulators, and governance committees.
  • Deliver compliance awareness and training programmes across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years’ experience in compliance, risk management, audit, legal, governance, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, Accounting, Auditing, or Law are an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and corporate governance practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
