Summary:
The Customer Relations & Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the customer relations and marketing departments in their daily operations. This role involves a mix of administrative, customer-facing, and creative tasks, all aimed at building strong customer relationships and promoting the company's products or services. The assistant will handle customer inquiries, assist in marketing campaign execution, and help maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relations:
* Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints via phone, email, social media, and live chat.
* Issue Resolution:
Log and track customer issues, escalating complex problems to senior staff and ensuring a timely and satisfactory resolution.
* Relationship Building:
Proactively follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met and to foster long-term loyalty.
* Data Management:
Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accurate and organized records of all interactions.
2. Marketing Support:
* Campaign Execution:
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, social media posts, and online promotions.
* Content Creation:
Draft and edit marketing content, such as social media captions, blog posts, and website copy, ensuring consistency with the brand's voice and style.
* Social Media Management:
Monitor and engage with the company's social media channels, responding to comments and messages and helping to grow the online community.
* Market Research:
Conduct basic market research to identify customer trends, competitor activities, and new marketing opportunities.
* Event Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, or webinars.
3. Administrative and Reporting:
* Administrative Tasks:
Provide general administrative support to the marketing and customer service teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
* Performance Tracking:
Help track and report on key metrics for both customer service and marketing campaigns (e.g., customer satisfaction scores, social media engagement rates, email open rates).
