Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, maintaining bar stock, and ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have strong mixology skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes or customer requests.
- Demonstrate knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and modern mixology trends.
- Provide recommendations and upsell drinks to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and tools.
- Monitor customer behavior and comply with all alcohol service regulations.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with stock rotation.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash responsibly.
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a restaurant, bar, or hotel.
- In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (preferred).
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Professional bartending or mixology training is an advantage.
- Minimum [1–2] years of bartending experience preferred.
