Job Description:
The Director of International Cricket Operations is a pivotal leadership role within the PCB, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the country’s international cricket engagements. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and Organizing International Cricket Events: Coordinating and managing international tours and series involving Pakistan’s national teams, Shaheens, U-19, U-16, and emerging teams.
- Preparation and Finalization of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs): Drafting and finalizing MoUs for both home and away tours, ensuring all logistical and operational aspects are covered.
- Budget Development and Planning: Creating and managing budgets for international series and tournaments, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
- ICC Meetings Preparation: Preparing for and participating in International Cricket Council (ICC) meetings, addressing cricketing matters and regulations pertaining to the game.
- Logistics Operations Management: Overseeing the logistics of international tours, including travel arrangements, accommodations, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Requirement: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Cricketing Background: Must be a former domestic or international cricketer, with experience in Test or One Day International (ODI) formats.
