A reputable construction company located in Cantonments, Accra, is seeking a seasoned Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage its HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic HR initiatives, implementing policies, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and best practices.
Job Description:
The HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of human resources management, from recruitment to retention, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This position requires a proactive leader who can align HR operations with the company’s overall business objectives, promote a positive work culture, and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff training programs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Ghana’s labour laws and organizational standards.
- Oversee payroll administration, leave management, and employee benefits.
- Support performance management, appraisal, and staff development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, records, and reporting systems.
- Advise management on HR strategies, staffing, and organizational planning.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional HR certification (e.g., IHRMP, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of HR management experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
