Job Description
We are urgently seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be an accredited finance professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience managing financial strategy, governance, and compliance.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, risk management, treasury oversight, and supporting business growth through strong financial controls and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
Governance, Controls & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
- Manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
RFQs & RFPs Management
- Lead financial input and analysis for RFQs and RFPs.
- Review pricing models, cost structures, and financial viability.
- Support bid submissions with accurate financial documentation.
Treasury & Tax Management
- Oversee cash flow planning and treasury operations.
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with statutory obligations.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
- Foster collaboration across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement within finance operations.
Requirements
- ACCA or CIMA certified finance professional (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (an advantage).
- Strong experience handling RFQs and RFPs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of governance, financial controls, risk management, treasury, and tax.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
