ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an IT savvy, competent and ambitious Head of Operations for Eastern Hills Ecopark and Tour who will be driving our full-service ecotourism company to new heights. This role merges operations and business development sections to ensure the business operates and expands seamlessly across our social media pages and website.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the operations of our transportation fleet, including maintenance, compliance and driver schedules.
- Identifying new business opportunities and partnership avenues.
- Building and maintaining profitable relationships with new & existing clients.
- Preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Leading and structuring teams to ensure high performance and compliance.
- Developing and overseeing operational budgets, expenses, and profitability targets.
- Coordinating with vendors, partners and other stakeholders.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience in sales, marketing, or business development and operations.
- Ability to develop and interpret financial reports.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and independent approach to problem-solving.
- Specific knowledge and experience in the transport industry would be an advantage.
