Job Overview:
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in assigned areas. This role ensures that guests, staff, or residents experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize rooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and public areas
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and polish surfaces
- Change bed linens and replenish towels and toiletries (in hospitality settings)
- Dispose of waste properly and restock cleaning supplies
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and safety protocols
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests or residents
Requirements:
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage (but not required training provided.
* Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good physical stamina and ability to handle cleaning equipment.
