Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical HR Officer – Reward & Recognition to design, implement, and manage employee reward programs that foster motivation, engagement, and performance. This role plays a key part in aligning compensation and recognition strategies with organizational goals and employee expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reward Strategy: Support the development and execution of compensation and benefits frameworks that are competitive and equitable.
  • Recognition Programs: Design and manage employee recognition initiatives (e.g., Employee of the Month, service awards, peer-to-peer recognition).
  • Data Analysis: Monitor reward trends, conduct benchmarking, and analyze internal compensation data to ensure fairness and market alignment.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all reward and recognition programs comply with labor laws, internal policies, and audit standards.
  • Communication: Promote awareness of reward programs through internal campaigns, presentations, and HR communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with managers and department heads to tailor recognition efforts to team dynamics and performance goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on reward effectiveness, employee participation, and impact on engagement and retention.

Required:
* Minimum 3-5 years' HR experience, with at least 2 years in reward, compensation, or HR analytics.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel or HRIS tools.
* Understanding of Ghanaian labour laws, tax, and statutory deductions.
* High attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential data.
