Job Summary
AGM Inc. is seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Helper to support food preparation and kitchen operations at its mining facility. The successful candidate will assist kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, organizing supplies, and ensuring that food is handled safely.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation.
• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as instructed.
• Clean kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, dishes, and work surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in food preparation and storage areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and arranging food supplies.
• Follow food hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Help with meal service and kitchen setup when required.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a hygienic environment.
• Report damaged equipment or food safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, catering facility, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
