Job Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at all times. The role involves managing front desk operations, handling communications, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office activities.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and staff in a professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate calendars where necessary.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mails, deliveries, and office documents.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and visitor logs.
  • Assist with administrative and clerical support for various departments.
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment when required.
  • Support internal communication and ensure efficient information flow within the organization.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or Administrative Assistant is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
